More about Zachariah Deitz

"The law shouldn't be intimidating or out of reach. My goal is to provide clear advice, practical solutions, and honest representation so every client understands their options and feels confident moving forward." -Zachariah Deitz, Managing Attorney

My Story

Small-Town Roots

I grew up in Buffalo, North Dakota, where I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and serving others. Before becoming an attorney, I spent more than 25 years in the construction industry, including over a decade operating my own construction company and working alongside my family in our small business. Those experiences taught me how important practical solutions, honest communication, and financial responsibility are when people's livelihoods are on the line.

Service in the Army National Guard

I also served 12 years in the Army National Guard as a recruiter, leader, trainer, and construction supervisor. My military service strengthened my commitment to leadership, discipline, and helping others navigate difficult situations with confidence and respect.

From Business Owner to Attorney

After earning my law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2023, I founded Black Letter Law P.C. with one goal: to provide quality legal representation that is accessible, affordable, and focused on real-world situations. I represent clients in criminal defense, family law, business matters, estate planning, guardianships, adoptions, and property-related issues.

Serving North Dakota Families, Businesses & Veterans

As a disabled veteran, serving fellow veterans holds special meaning for me. I understand many of the challenges they face, and I believe everyone deserves clear legal guidance, fair pricing, and an attorney who genuinely listens.

Whether you're facing a legal dispute, planning for your family's future, or protecting your business, my commitment is simple: to provide honest advice, practical solutions, and dedicated representation every step of the way.

Thank you for considering Black Letter Law, P.C. I look forward to helping you move forward with confidence.
